Central Baptist College, as the No. 1 seed, will host the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference softball tournament Thursday and Friday at City of Colleges Park.

From the moment his father put plastic golf clubs in his hands at 2 years of age, Conway senior Tyler Pinney experienced love at first sight - for the game of golf.
 "I started playing with my dad and started working my way up," Pinney said. "I've always loved being outside and enjoying nature. On the golf course, it's wide open and there's nothing like it."

Soccer players, Thabo Masogo, Sabelo Hlongwane and Ryan Pelser, from Central Baptist University in Conway told a group of third graders, in the classroom of teacher Elizabeth Sowder, at VPS, "most everyone in our country enjoys watching soccer."
