The Central Baptist College softball team picked off #4 Williams Baptist Saturday March 1 at 3:00 PM.  The Mustangs took an early lead from sophomore, Tiffani Pledgers' three run homerun.  Surrett, Pledger, and Merritt would all contribute three more hits to bring in two more runs.  The Mustangs would battle to contain the lead for the next five innings where Senior, Jessica Sheldon and the defense held the lady eagles to just two runs, and three hits, snagging the 5-3 win.

The defeat of the eagles Saturday afternoon improved the Lady Mustangs record to 12-2.  The Lady Mustangs have swept the last three tournaments from the Lyon Community Bank Invitational, to the CBC February Meltdown, and lastly to the CBC March Invitational, to put them on a 12 game winning streak, and to stand undefeated on their home field.
