Men's Soccer Loses to UCA

Conway, Ark. (Oct. 3, 2017) – On a rainy, muddy night, the Central Baptist College men's soccer team returned to the pitch after a week off. Their opponent was the Bears (5-6) of the University of Central Arkansas, and the Divison I crosstown rivals were up to the challenge, leading 1-0 at halftime and adding a pair of second-half goals to beat the Mustangs (1-9), 3-0

Sam Collins (FR/Cape Town, South Africa) made four saves for CBC and Joe Adkins (SR/Searcy, Ark.) was able to trouble UCA's keeper once. UCA's goals came in the 42nd, 54th and 90th minutes, the last one coming on a cross in the box on a puddle laden pitch.

The Mustangs return to their home field, Centennial Soccer Park, on Saturday at 3 p.m. for a match with American Midwest Conference foe Lindenwood-Belleville.
