Central Baptist College baseball wins series versus Williams Baptist College 3 games to 1 in Walnut Ridge, AR. The Mustangs won by scores of 7-4, 9-3 and 5-2 while their only loss of the weekend coming by one run losing 8-9.
The Mustangs were led by three winning pitchers: Michael Newby, Will Harris, and Zach Sparks who all received the wins. Ryan Nevels and Chase Smith each received saves over the weekend.
Offensively, the Mustangs were led by Sr. AJ Allen who went 7 for 14 at the plate. There were also significant contributions from Lester Clark, Cory Duke and Brady Brashier who all had multiple hits and RBIs for the Mustangs. The 3-1 weekend brings the Mustangs to 7-4 on the season.
