Maumelle, Ark. – The Country Club of Little Rock was the setting as Central Baptist College hosted seven men's golf teams, three women's teams and numerous other players representing colleges individually.
Day one ended with CBC men in the lead firing a 303 as a team with St Gregory's University (306) three shots back in second position. The par 72, 6458-yard course played well on this cool crisp morning.
Rounding out the team scores in the opening day:

Southwestern Christian led the women in team play with a 256. Seminole State CC- OK fired a team 353 to finish the day in second place on the Par 72, 5946-yard CC of LR course (white tee).
Individually, McKayla Poponick from Seminole State CC fired an 80 to take the lead in day one. Perri McGill from Southwestern Christian shot an 82 for the second spot.
