Searcy, Ark.- The Mustangs (2-11, 1-7) stepped out of American Midwest Conference play to take on NCAA Division 2 Harding University (12-3). CBC fell 5-0 to the Bison in the evening contest.
CBC's Sage Ricker saved a goal early (4:33) on a shot by HU's Drew Anderson. Callum Morris' shot (11:42) was blocked, Ferdinand Matebu had a corner kick (12:16) that Callum Morris turned into a header for CBC, but the Bison's Thomas Shults was able to save.
Harding's Christian Ramos got the Bison on the board first at 26:14. Aaron Craig followed at 32:17 to make it 2-0 Harding at the end of the period.
Dylan Perdue would take over goalkeeping duties to start the second period for CBC. The period started off ugly as the teams traded fouls. Harding scored twice within a minute as Christian Ramos got his third and fourth goals of the season. Bison led 4-0.
The Mustangs would get five more shots in the second half but could not capitalize. Harding's Drew Anderson scored (83:47) from a steal and a shot to create the final margin.
