ST. LOUIS, MO – CBC never trailed as St. Louis College of Pharmacy was dismantled 110-49 in American Midwest Conference action tonight.
The NCCAA #11 ranked Mustangs (6-3, 3-2) scored the first ten points of the game before a foul by CBC's Andy Ettiene (JR/Jersery City, NJ) would send Colton Frazier to the line for free throws. STCOP would make it 10-2, that would be the closest they would ever come.
Ettiene would finish with 12 points, six assists and six rebounds for the Mustangs. Seven CBC players would score in double figures. Justin Harris (SR/Jonesboro, AR) (13), Marcelious Green (JR/Houston, TX) (12), Jordan Ford (FR/Dallas, Texas) (11), Tony White (JR/Jonesboro, AR) (10), Nick Jones (FR/Little Rock, AR) (10), and Mike Evans (SR/North Little Rock, AR) (10). The Mustangs shot 61% from the field, their highest mark of the season thus far.
CBC's largest lead of the first half would come near the end of the period on a Jordan Ford free throw that would send the teams to the locker room with the Mustangs leading 66-26.
The second half would be no better for the Euts as 18 players for CBC would log minutes on the floor and outscore STLCOP by 21 to create the final margin. Central Baptist would shoot 52.5% from the field for a game high this season.
