Conway, Ark – With third place and a possible home AMC playoff game in the balance, Central Baptist hosted the Harris-Stowe State University Hornets here on Thursday evening. After an intense battle, the Hornets won 80-74 in the American Midwest Conference Game of the Week.
Harris-Stowe came out hot with Evans Ganapamo setting the tone with his early three-point shooting. There would be four ties in the half as neither team could gain a true advantage. CBC would lead at the half by six on a Mike Evans (SR/North Little Rock, AR) jumper along with free-throws by Teshawn Sims (SR/Conway, AR), 35-29.
