Maumelle, Ark. – After leading on the opening day of the CBC Invitational at The Country Club of Arkansas by one stroke, Missouri Valley saved three more to win the Men's Division. Central Baptist followed in second place with Missouri Valley's second squad in third.
Missouri Valley shot a two-day total 591 (300, 291) while CBC fired a 595 (301, 294).
The Mustangs' Austin Harmon (SR/Bryant, AR) led both days to win medalist honors. Harmon shot a two-day total 141 (70, 71). Dylan Bekemeier from Evangel University came in second, moving up from third after day one with a 144 (73,71). Three players tied for the third spot with a 146; Kaz Sakai of Missouri Valley (71, 75), Grant Numrich of Missouri Valley (77,69) and Jan Jedlicka from Missouri Valley (74,72).
For the Lady Mustangs, Makenzie Baker finished in third position with a two-day total 177 (93, 84). Missouri Valley claimed the top two spots with Mariah Farden with a 166 (84, 82) and Emma Sperry 171 (87,84). CBC's Shelby Raborn (FR/Maumelle, Ark.) finished in eighth place with a 203 (104, 99).
