Conway, Ark. (Oct. 7, 2017) – The Central Baptist College women's soccer team returned to their home pitch today after a week off to take on American Midwest Conference opponent Lindenwood-Belleville. The Mustangs (0-11-1, 0-5-1 AMC) were able to extend their scoreless minutes streak to 192, but couldn't extend it further, allowing two first-half goals en route to a 7-0 loss to the Lynx (4-7, 3-2 AMC).
Sara Calzada (FR/Arlington, Texas) had 13 saves for CBC, who was able to apply pressure to the Lynx defense a couple of times, but could not put a ball into the net. Maisie Kincaid had a hat trick for the Lynx, while Casey Wood added a pair of goals and Courtney Radley and Jessica Roderick also found the net.
The Mustangs take the pitch next on Oct. 10 when they make a trek to St. Louis, Mo., to take on the Hornets of Harris-Stowe State in AMC play. Kickoff for that match is at 1 p.m.
