Coach Terlea will be in his second year of coaching the CBC Mustaings. His first year was successful in leading the first year cross country program as he saw marked improvements in every runner he coached throughout the season.
Terlea has Level 1 & 2 coaching certifications from USA Track and Field and serves as founder and Head Coach for the Arkansas Performance Running Club based out of Little Rock. He has more than 20 years of experience coaching high-level athletes of all distances and ages. In 2015, 17 of his athletes qualified for the USA Track and Field National Junior Olympics in 32 different events.
Terlea has a Bachelor's Degree in Sports and Physical Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from the National Academy of Sports and Physical Education in Bucharest, Romania. He received his Master of Science degree in Sports Administration from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Ark. in 2008.
