Originally from Bald Knob, Middleton attended Lyon College where he played both basketball and baseball.  He transferred to the University of Central Arkansas where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology. In 2005, Middleton was inducted in the Lyon College Athletic Hall of Fame for his athletic accomplishments. 

Before coming to Central Baptist College in 2004, Middleton worked for 10 years in Boys & Girls Club organizations as an Athletic Director and then as an Executive Director.  He is currently the Athletic Director at Central Baptist College and coaches  Women & Men's Golf and Women’s Basketball. During his time at CBC, he has also coached other sports including Men’s Baseball and Women’s Volleyball.

Coach Middleton and his wife, Tracie, live in Conway with their two children, Gram and Sidni. They are members at Antioch Baptist Church.  His hobbies include golf and duck hunting/duck guiding. He played on the Adam’s Tightlies Tour and NGA Hooter’s Golf Tour 2008 – 2009.  He has made the Arkansas Cup Team twice representing Arkansas in the Arkansas Nike Cup and the Governor’s Cup.
