Soccer Women's - Sun, Jan. 26, 2014

Conway, AR (Jan. 22, 2014) – Central Baptist College head women's soccer coach Phillip Bohn announced the signing of Peyton Turner (Conway, AR) for the 2014 school year.

Turner, an attacker, is a two-year letter winner at Conway High School. In 2011, she helped guide her team to the 7A state championship. The following season, Conway High School completed the season with a runner-up finish.

Conway, AR (Dec. 3, 2013) – The men's soccer programs at Central Baptist College and the University of Central Arkansas held a memorial service Tuesday evening in tribute to former soccer student athlete Shafial Mason, who died after a car accident on November 23.

Soccer Women's - Mon, Oct. 28, 2013

Conway, AR (Oct. 26, 2013) – The Central Baptist College women's soccer team earned its first conference victory, defeating visiting Central Christian College 3-2 Saturday afternoon.

Central Christian (4-12,1-3) scored the games first goal as Breana Rudiger poked in a cross from teammate Krystina Powell, beating Central Baptist (5-10, 1-4) senior goalkeeper Erika LaToure Castillo in the 5th minute.

The Mustangs equalized in the 41st minute on an own goal. Sophomore Tarra Hendricks dribbled through Central Christian's defense, blasting a shot inside the six yard box that deflected off a defender past the Tigers goalkeeper.

Soccer Women's - Wed, Oct. 23, 2013

Bartlesville, OK (Oct. 23, 2013) – The Central Baptist College women's soccer team fell victim to host Oklahoma Wesleyan University 2-0 Wednesday afternoon.

Playing inspired soccer, the Mustangs (4-9-0, 0-3) battled to a 0-0 halftime score. It wasn't until the 51st minute when Oklahoma Wesleyan (8-3-2, 3-0) scored the games first goal on a corner kick. The Eagles served a ball to the back post which was headed home to give the Eagles the 1-0 advantage.

Soccer Women's - Thu, Oct. 17, 2013

Conway, AR (Oct. 15, 2013) – The Central Baptist College women's soccer team knocked off visiting Texas College 2-1 Tuesday afternoon at Centennial Park. The win snapped a five-game losing streak for the Mustangs.

The Mustangs and Texas College battled through a relatively quiet and scoreless first half, which saw CBC outshot its opponent 5-2.

CBC wasted little time scoring the games first goal of the second half. In the 46th minute, Mustangs junior Ally Lamb's service in the box found junior Jessica Wisenor. Wisenor's half-volley beat TC's diving goalkeeper, giving the Mustangs a 1-0 lead.
