CBC Baseball sets a new season win mark with weekend split of Grace University.  Central Baptist College's previous season high win total was 23 games.  The Mustangs (24-14) eclipsed that mark while splitting the weekend 2-2 with Grace University.

CBC Mustangs beat William Penn University 4-0 in seven innings on Saturday at Victory Field Conway, AR behind Myles Hiebert, who knocked in three runs.

He homered in the sixth inning.

CBC Mustangs' Ross Westbrook kept William Penn University off the scoreboard for all seven innings he was on the mound. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on two hits while striking out two.

Central Baptist Colleges' Baseball Coach, Dr. Aaron Brister is brand new at CBC but already breaking records. On Saturday, August 17th, Coach Brister signed 23 student-athletes. Those 23 signees comprise about half of the team total.

Dr. Brister is originally from Searcy, AR. He was an honor student at Crowley Ridge College in Paragould, where he played both baseball and basketball. After finishing his Associate of Arts degree, he transferred to Harding University in Searcy to play baseball.

Dr. Brister was an Academic All-American all four years of playing collegiate sports. He graduated Magna Cum Laude at Harding University in 1996 with a major in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology.

Central Baptist College baseball wins series versus Williams Baptist College 3 games to 1 in Walnut Ridge, AR. The Mustangs won by scores of 7-4, 9-3 and 5-2 while their only loss of the weekend coming by one run losing 8-9.
