Soccer Men's - Wed, Oct. 15, 2014

On Saturday night the Central Baptist Men's Soccer team went to McPherson, KS to play Central Christian College on the eve of CCC's Homecoming. The game was a tightly competitive match in the first half and at the break the teams were even at 1-1. After half time the Mustangs went down 2-1, but through patience and focus the Mustangs were able to come back and go ahead 3-2 through two goals from Ed Wishart. Wishart also assisted Jarrel Grimes on the Mustang's first goal which accumulated in him being named MCAC Offensive player of the week.

Freshman midfielder Edward Wishart of Central Baptist College has been named MCAC Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 12.

Soccer Men's - Thu, Jul. 31, 2014

Central Baptist College announces the hiring of Peter Smith as the new Head Men's Soccer Coach.   Earlier in the week, CBC announced that Tasha Flynn took over as the CBC Head Women's Soccer Coach.  Smith and Flynn take over the CBC program after Coach Philip Bohn left to become the Head Men's Soccer Coach at Kansas Wesleyan in Mid-July.

Conway, AR (July 1, 2014) – Central Baptist College head soccer coach Phillip Bohn announced the signing of five soccer student athletes for the 2014 school year.

Patrik Borchmann (Freyburg, Germany), Ferdinand Matebu (Amsterdam), William Moix (Conway, AR), Jesus Vasquez (Belen, NM), Luke Walters (Nottingham, England), have committed to CBC.

Ben Holmes (Aberdeen, Scotland), Colby Hight (Benton, AR), Ed Wishart (Liverpool, England), Joe Robb (Chesterfield, England), Oscar Marquez (Long Beach, CA), and Tyler Case (Argyle, TX) have committed to CBC.

Conway, AR (April 15, 2014) – Central Baptist College head soccer coach Phillip Bohn announced the signing of five soccer student athletes for the 2014 school year.

Corey Laisure (Bryant, AR), Gabriel Luevano-Griego (Farmers Branch, TX), Michael Johnson (Cordova, TN), Sage Ricker (Haslet, TX), and Thomas Milner (Derbyshire, England).

"We are really excited about the quality of our recruiting class as it is taking shape," Bohn said. "We believe these boys will help immediately with the overall development of our program. Although we still have work to do to complete our 2014 recruiting class, we are really happy with how it is coming together and fully expect this upcoming year to be very memorable."
