Jones Earns AMC Pitcher of the Week Honors

            St. Louis, Mo. – Aiden Jones picked up his first career American Midwest Conference pitcher of the week recognition for his performance this past week. Jones is the first Mustang to earn a weekly honor from the AMC this season.

            Jones pitched a complete game one-hitter in his first collegiate start last Tuesday against Arkansas Baptist. He struck eight, including seven in a row in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings, retiring 15 in a row between the only hit he allowed in the second and a walk in the seventh.

            Jones and the Mustangs host College of the Ozarks in a doubleheader tomorrow with first pitch scheduled for noon at DeSalvo Memorial Stadium in North Little Rock.
