Mustangs Place Fifth At Sooner Athletic Conference Championships

Fort Worth, Texas – Competing for the final time this season, Central Baptist College wrestling was on the mat today at the Sid Richardson Center for the Sooner Athletic Conference championship. CBC finished in fifth place with 41 points as seven of the eight wrestlers who competed placed.

Oklahoma City – For the first time in history, Central Baptist College has the Sooner Athletic Conference wrestler of the week. Alex Lopez, a recent addition to the Mustang wrestling squad, was selected as this week’s Sooner Athletic Conference Digital Scoreboards wrestler of the week.

Mat Mustangs Split Tri-Dual In Walnut Ridge

Walnut Ridge, Ark. – Wrestling in state for the second consecutive week, Central Baptist College wrestling was on the mat tonight at the Southerland Mabee Center for a tri-dual against McMurry and Williams Baptist. CBC split the matches, beating McMurry 34-16 before dropping the WBU dual 43-10.

Mustangs Host Ravens

Conway, Ark. – Hosting a match for the first time in almost two years, Central Baptist College wrestling was on the mat tonight against the Benedictine Ravens. CBC took the 133 pound match by forfeit for their only points in a 53-6 defeat.

Wrestling Competes at 918 Open

Bixby, Okla. – On the mat for the final time in 2025, Central Baptist College wrestling was at the 918 Open today, hosted by Oklahoma Wesleyan. Eight wrestlers competed for CBC across seven different weight classes.

Mustangs Host CBC Invitational

Conway, Ark. – Wrestling at home for the first time this season, Central Baptist College hosted the Mustang Invitational today at Buzz Bolding Arena. CBC placed ninth in the tournament and had 10 wrestlers compete in nine different weight classes.

Mustangs Compete at Lucha Open

Douglasville, Ga. – Competing for the final time in the month of November, Central Baptist College wrestling was on the mat at the Lucha Open today hosted by Life University. Eight wrestlers competed in seven different weight classes on the day.

Mustangs Drop Dual To Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City – Wrestling in a Sooner Athletic Conference dual for the first time this season, Central Baptist College was on the mat for seven matches at Abe Lemons Arena against Oklahoma City University. CBC lost all 10 matches, falling 60-0.
