Mustangs Fall To #3 Freed-Hardeman

            Henderson, Tenn. – Playing in their penultimate non-conference game, Central Baptist College men's basketball was at the Brewer Sports Center today for a rematch with the #3 Lions of Freed-Hardeman University. CBC (3-8) trailed by one at halftime, but struggled shooting in the second half and lost 79-57 to FHU (13-1).

            Tyler Johnson led three Mustangs in double figures with a season-high 18 points while nearly registering a double-double with nine rebounds. Dalton Alexander III chipped in with 13 and MacArthur Reed, Jr., had 10. The game was tied seven times in the first half and changed hands 12 times as CBC won the battle at the free throw line 23-18.

            The Mustangs return home to start American Midwest Conference play on Thursday night when they host the Harris-Stowe Hornets.
