Erik Holth, CBC Sports Information Director

Conway, Ark. – Playing at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse for the final time this season, Central Baptist College men's basketball hosted the Crowley's Ridge Pioneers in an American Midwest Conference contest. CBC (10-14, 7-5 AMC) shot 54 percent from the field and made 15 three pointers, beating CRC (10-15, 3-8 AMC) 91-79.

Six seniors were honored before the contest for their time in a Mustang uniform. All five starters finished in double figures scoring for the Mustangs, led by 19 points from senior Dalton Alexander III. Devon Jefferson, another senior, added a career-high 17 points, while MacArthur Reed, Jr., added 14 and both Caleb Knight and senior Tyler Johnson had 12.

GAME FLOW

CBC scored the first five points of the game before CRC went on a 13-1 run to put CBC down 13-6 early in the first half. Back-to-back threes by Jefferson and Alexander cut the deficit to one. The game would go back-and-forth for a few minutes before a three from Keshun Brown gave CBC a 21-20 lead they would never relinquish. The Mustangs led 45-41 at half and saw their lead dwindle to 59-57 with 10:07 to go. From there, the Mustangs closed strong, finishing the game on a 32-22 run.
