Mustangs Place 11th at Columbia Spring Invitational

Columbia, Mo. – Looking to makeup ground after day one, Central Baptist College men's golf teed off today in the final round of the Columbia Spring Invitational at Columbia Country Club. The Mustangs improved by 18 shots, shooting a final round 306 to finish with a 630 and in 11th place.
Individually, Cooper Hermann and Jakub Slapal finished tied with 151's after Hermann shot a final round 74 and Slapal fired a final round 73. Paul Gomez, who competed as an individual, was next after shooting an 80 for a total score of 160 while Jack Higginbotham shot a 74 to finish at 165, Gustavo Bello closed with an 89 for a total of 168 and Preston Nestorenko shot an 85 for a total of 175.
CBC hosts the Mustang Spring Invitational next Monday and Tuesday at Cypress Creek Golf Club in Cabot.
