Mustangs In Third After 36 Holes At AMC Championship

            Melbourne, Ark. – Teeing off for the final time in 2025, Central Baptist College men's golf was on course at Cooper's Hawk Golf Club for the first 36 holes of the American Midwest Conference Championship. CBC shot a 300 and a 304 in the first two rounds for a total of 604, good for third place, 23 shots behind second.

            Individually, Jakub Slapal is in a tie for third after posting back-to-back rounds of 72 for a total of 144, 10 shots behind the individual leader. Preston Nesterenko is next after he shot a 73 and 78 for a 151, followed by Cooper Hermann, who went 79, 78; Jack Higginbotham, who shot 83, 76 and Paul Gomez who shot 76, 90 across two rounds.

            The Mustangs tee off for the final 18 holes tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.
