Mustangs Finish Fourth At SCU Invitational

Oklahoma City – Entering the final round in fifth place, Central Baptist College sought improvement on the final day of the Southwestern Christian Invitational at Earlywine Golf Club. CBC closed with a final round 311 to finish with a 935 in fourth place, 29 shots off the win.
Individually, Juan Candil closed with a 77 to finish with a 229 which tied for 10th. Cooper Hermann was next, closing with an 83 to finish at 233 just in front of Kolt Carden, who closed with a 75 to finish with a 235. Ottavio Lutterotti was next, finishing with a 76 for a total of 238 and Eliseo Martines finished with an 85 for a 250. The two individuals, Gustavo Bello and Jase Holder, closed with an 82 and 90, respectively, for total scores of 238 and 257.
The Mustangs have a week off before returning to the course on the 15th and 16th in Kennett, Mo., at the Williams Baptist Fall Invitational.
