Hermann Leads, Mustangs Third After 18 Holes In Illinois

Alton, Ill. – Returning to the course for a second straight week, Central Baptist College men's golf was at the Spencer Olin Community Golf Course today for the first round of the Missouri Baptist University Fall Invitational. CBC shot a first round 307 and sits in third place, seven shots behind the leaders.
Individually, Cooper Hermann was the only player to break par as he fired a one-under round of 71 to lead by one shot. Kolt Carden is also inside the top 10 as he sits eighth after an opening round 75. Gustavo Bello was next with a 79, followed by Juan Miranda with an 82, and Eliseo Martinez with an 84. Jase Holder, who competed as an individual, also shot an 84.
The final round tees off tomorrow morning at 8.
