Mustangs Finish Fifth At MBU Fall Invitational

            Alton, Ill. – Entering the final round of the Missouri Baptist Fall Invitational just seven shots off the lead in third place, Central Baptist College men's golf looked for their first win of the fall today at the Spencer Olin Community Golf Club. CBC shot a final round 315 and finished in fifth place with a 622.

            Cooper Hermann, who entered the round with a one shot lead after firing an opening round 71, birdied the sixth and seventh holes but faded in the last two holes, shooting a final round 74 to finish in second place by three shots. Juan Miranda had the next best final round, shooting a 78 followed by Kolt Carden with an 81, Gustavo Bello with an 82, individual Jase Holder with an 84 and Eliseo Martinez with an 89.

            CBC closes the fall portion of their schedule by hosting the CBC Invitational next week at the Country Club of Arkansas.
