Texarkana, Texas – Looking to bounce back from a loss against a tough ranked opponent this past weekend, Central Baptist College men's soccer was at Morgan Field tonight for a match with the Eagles of Texas A&M-Texarkana. CBC (0-2-1) couldn't break through for the first time this season, fighting to a 0-0 draw with TAMUT (1-2-2).
Jasper Gadellaa had 10 saves and was crucial in shutting out an opponent for the first time this season. CBC couldn't capitalize on their chances, including a Victor Alvarez strike that glanced off the crossbar in the 86th minute.
The Mustangs head to Winfield, Kan., on Saturday for a match against the Southwestern College Moundbuilders. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
