Gadellaa Earns AMC Defensive Player of the Week

St. Louis, Mo. – For the first time this season, Central Baptist College men's soccer has an American Midwest Conference athlete of the week. Goalkeeper Jasper Gadella earned AMC defensive player of the week honors today.
This is the second time in Gadellaa's career he has earned this award and the first since 2023. He made two saves and held UHSP without a goal in Saturday's win for his second shutout this season and the ninth of his career. He also contributed on the offensive end, assisting on the Mustangs' first goal of the season in the 11th minute.
Gadellaa and the Mustangs are back on the pitch tomorrow night when they face off with the Lions of Freed-Hardeman with kickoff scheduled for 6 p.m. from Henderson, Tenn.
