Walnut Ridge, Ark. – Heading to the road for the first time since last Tuesday, Central Baptist College men's soccer took on the Williams Baptist University Eagles this after at the WBU Soccer Field. CBC (4-7-1, 2-2 AMC) scored a goal in the first half to tie the match, but WBU (5-6-2, 3-0 AMC) answered, leading 2-1 at halftime before defeating the Mustangs 5-1.
Drew Cracknell scored his first goal as a Mustang in the 17th minute on an assist from Jack McNamara. Jasper Gadellaa made three saves in net.
CBC heads back to the road on Saturday when they take on Harris-Stowe in St. Louis. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
