Mustangs Compete At Richard Martin Invitational

            Conway, Ark. – Running for the second straight weekend, Central Baptist College track & field was at the Stephens Track Complex today for the Richard Martin Invitational hosted by the University of Central Arkansas. Six athletes took to the track over the past two days with mixed results for both the men and the women.

            Ally Swaim, Ashleigh Gross-Mitchell and Mackenzie Milligan competed for the Mustangs, with Swaim posting times in the 100-meter dash and the 100-meter hurdles. Gross-Mitchell competed in the 100-meter dash, the 200-meter dash and the long jump and Milligan competed in the 1500 meter race. Swaim earned nine points on the day, placing eighth in the 100 meters with a time of 12.92 while finishing second in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.01. Gross-Mitchell recorded a time of 13.80 in the 100-meters, a 28.85 in the 200-meters and a distance of 4.95 meters in the long jump, a new personal best for her. Milligan ran 7:00.50 in the 1500.

            On the men's side, Isaiah Stiger recorded his second best jump ever in the long jump, placing fifth with a distance of 6.14 meters, and Jadon Price trailed right behind him in sixth place with a jump of 5.55 meters.

            The Mustangs are back on the track next week in Oklahoma at the Oklahoma Baptist University Bison Invitational.
