Wrestling Releases 2025-26 Schedule

Conway, Ark. – Central Baptist College wrestling coach Ken Prophete has announced the 2025-26 schedule for his Mustangs. 15 matches line the schedule including two matches in front of fans at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse.
The season begins on Nov. 1 when the Mustangs head to Wichita, Kan., for the Friends Falcon Open. On Nov. 8, CBC heads to Poteau, Okla., for the Carl Albert Open. The first dual of the season follows when CBC heads to Batesville on the 15th for a tri-dual at Lyon. A Sooner Athletic Conference dual at Oklahoma City follows on the 18th before the month concludes in Powder Springs, Ga., at the Life Open on the 22nd.
The first match in December is on the sixth when CBC hosts the 2025 Mustang Invitational at Buzz Bolding Arena on the Conway High School campus. The other match in Dec. is on the 13th in Bartlesville, Okla., at the 918 Open.
2026 opens with a dual against Benedictine on Jan. 8 at home. Another conference dual follows on the 15th against Williams Baptist in Walnut Ridge before the final home dual of the year against Ouachita Baptist on the 20th. The first of two trips to Marshall, Mo., follows on the 23rd and 24th when the Mustangs compete in the Missouri Valley Invitational. The month wraps up at the Cumberland Open in Lebanon, Tenn., on the 31st.
The final dual of the season opens February on the third when the Mustangs take on the Oklahoma Wesleyan Eagles in Bartlesville. The second trip to Marshall, Mo., ends the regular season on the seventh at the Missouri Valley Open before the SAC Championship ends the season on the 21st.
"This schedule is an ideal fit for the caliber of team that is coming in this season," said Prophete. "The competition will get these guys ready for a strong postseason finish."
