            Batesville, Ark. – Wrestling in a dual for the first time this season, Central Baptist College wrestling was on the mat at Becknell Gymnasium to take on Lyon College and Louisiana Tech. CBC out on top in both matches, beating La. Tech 24-20 before topping Lyon 27-17.

            Here is how each wrestler did at each weight class:

            125 – Cameron Hooten won by forfeit against La. Tech; Gabriel Martinez lost by fall against Lyon.

            133 – Maddox Atkins won by forfeit against La. Tech, then lost by fall against Lyon

            149 – Mason Nguyen lost by a 7-4 decision against La. Tech

            157 – David Ester, Jr., won by fall against La. Tech; Nguyen won by fall against Lyon

            165 – Charles Webb lost by fall against La. Tech then won by fall against Lyon

            174 – Kendon Torrentine won by a 13-7 decision against La. Tech then won by fall against Lyon

            184 – Jordan Allen-Smith lost by fall against La. Tech then won by fall against Lyon

            285 – Brayden Holley won by fall against La. Tech; Eli Nicholas won by a 9-5 decision against Lyon
