Mustangs Compete at Lucha Open

Douglasville, Ga. – Competing for the final time in the month of November, Central Baptist College wrestling was on the mat at the Lucha Open today hosted by Life University. Eight wrestlers competed in seven different weight classes on the day.
Brayden Holley went 1-2 at 285 pounds, winning his second match of the day in a 7-1 decision. Cameron Hooten went 0-2 at 125 pounds. Charles Webb went 2-2 at 165 with both wins coming by fall. David Ester went 0-2 at 165 pounds. Elijah Nicholas went 1-2 at 285 pounds with his win coming by fall. Gabriel Martinez went 0-2 at 125 pounds. Kendon Turrentine went 0-2 at 174 pounds and Maddox Atkins went 1-2 at 133 pounds with his win coming by fall.
The Mustangs are back on the mat on December 6 when they host the Mustang Invitational at Buzz Bolding Arena on the Conway High School campus.
