Wrestling Competes at 918 Open

            Bixby, Okla. – On the mat for the final time in 2025, Central Baptist College wrestling was at the 918 Open today, hosted by Oklahoma Wesleyan. Eight wrestlers competed for CBC across seven different weight classes.

            Cameron Hooten came away with a 17-11 decision in his opening bout at 125 pounds before losing the next two. The only other win came from Eli Nicholas, who won by fall in his second match at heavyweight.

            CBC is off until January 8 when they will wrestle at Reddin Fieldhouse for the only time this season against Benedictine. The match will be at 5 p.m. and will stream live on YouTube.
