Mustangs Place Fifth At Sooner Athletic Conference Championships

            Fort Worth, Texas – Competing for the final time this season, Central Baptist College wrestling was on the mat today at the Sid Richardson Center for the Sooner Athletic Conference championship. CBC finished in fifth place with 41 points as seven of the eight wrestlers who competed placed.

            Alex Lopez finished fourth at 149 pounds, winning his first match by fall and winning another match later by a 10-6 decision. Mason Nguyen placed fifth at 165 pounds, winning the fifth-place match over teammate Charles Webb by a 20-4 technical fall. Brayden Holley was a fifth-place finisher at heavyweight winning his placement match by a 17-4 major decision. Congratulations to the wrestling Mustangs on a fantastic season!
