Cross Country Opens Season at UCA Bear Invitational

            Conway, Ark. – Running for the first time in 2024, Central Baptist College cross country competed today at the UCA Bear Invitational at Beaverfork Lake Park. CBC had seven athletes compete between the men's and women's meet with six competitors crossing the finish line.

            In the women's race, Mackenzie Milligan posted the best time of 26:37.4 in the three-mile event. Bay Davis was next with a time of 29:33.8 and Alanna Bressler finished in a time of 30:22.90. In the men's event, Chris Palmer made history, posting the first ever sub-20 minute 3 mile, finishing in 17:15.97. Josh Brown was next with a time of 24:38.1 and Evan East crossed the line in a time of 26:42.6.

            The Mustangs are back on the course next week in Clarksville for the University of the Ozarks Invitational.
