Conway, Ark. – Looking to bounce back from a tough loss on Thursday night, Central Baptist College women's basketball hosted the Cougars of Columbia College this afternoon in an American Midwest Conference tilt inside A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (3-4, 0-4 AMC) trailed by 14 at halftime and never got closer, falling to CC (9-3, 3-1 AMC) 79-47.

Caroline Citty led the way scoring for the Mustangs, dropping in 16 points while Olivia Lambrigtsen posted a season-high 12. CBC did win the turnover battle, committing only 12 while forcing 14, but Columbia won the battle on the glass 56-42.

CBC steps out of AMC play for their next game on Thursday night at Crowley's Ridge. Tipoff from the Carter Activities Center will be at 5:30 p.m.
