Head Earns AMC Defensive Player of the Week

            St. Louis, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference announced their conference players of the week, presented by AMC OnTheGo, today and Raigan Head was selected as the Defensive Player of the Week. This is the second weekly award for Head this season and the fourth in her time at CBC.

            Raigan, who was the week one offensive player of the week, was pivotal in helping the Lady Mustangs earn their first AMC win of the season against Harris-Stowe State. She notched a double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds while also making two steals against the Hornets. She had seven defensive rebounds and scored half of her points in the third quarter.

            The Lady Mustangs take on Louisiana Tech in an exhibition game on Saturday with tipoff from Ruston, La., slated for 2 p.m.
