CBC Falls To Williams Baptist

Erik Holth, CBC Sports Information Director

Conway, Ark. – Playing their final game in the first half of the American Midwest Conference schedule, Central Baptist College women's basketball took on in-state rival Williams Baptist tonight inside A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (6-10, 3-5 AMC) had an early first quarter lead, but trailed 50-33 at halftime before losing to WBU (13-3, 7-1 AMC) 103-58.

Lexi Duck led the Lady Mustangs with 24 points while Raigan Head chipped in with 14. CBC outshot WBU from three, making nine to the Eagles' five, but got outrebounded 54-37.

Saturday's game at Stephens has been moved to February 16 because of weather coming in this weekend, so CBC will play their first AMC opponent of the season next Thursday when they head to St. Louis to take on UHSP. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
