Columbia, Mo. – Playing on a Monday for the first time this season, Central Baptist College women's basketball was at Silverthorne Arena tonight for the first of two American Midwest Conference meetings with the Stephens Stars this week. CBC (11-13, 8-8 AMC) was tied after a quarter, but trailed at halftime and dropped an 82-59 contest to SC (13-13, 12-4 AMC).
Raigan Head led the way with 12 points while Anslee Ballew had 11. The story of the game was turnovers as CBC committed 22 while only forcing four.
The Lady Mustangs play their final road game of the season on Thursday night when they take on Williams Baptist. Tipoff from the Southerland Mabee Center in Walnut Ridge is slated for 5:30 p.m.
