Lady Mustangs' Season Ends In AMC Quarterfinals

            Springfield, Mo. – Looking to continue an already historic season, Central Baptist College women's basketball took on the Stephens Stars tonight in the quarterfinals of the American Midwest Conference Championship at W.E. Dowell Fieldhouse. CBC saw their season end at 11-16 with a 62-52 loss to the Stars.

            Lexi Duck, the AMC Freshman of the Year, led the way in scoring with 13 points off the bench while Aliya Grotjohn and Raigan Head both scored 10 points in their final games as Lady Mustangs. The game was decided on the glass, where Stephens had a 47-36 edge and points off turnovers as Stephens turned 24 Lady Mustang turnovers into 27 points while CBC only scored 10 points off 11 Star miscues.
