Mustangs In Eighth After First 18 Holes At Columbia Invitational

Columbia, Mo. – Opening the spring season with a trip to Missouri, Central Baptist College women's golf was on the course at the Columbia Country Club today for the first round of the Columbia Invitational. CBC shot an opening round 379 and sits in eighth place after the first round, just five shots behind the team in front of them.
Individually, Abby Kirby is tied for eighth after shooting an 85 in the first round, putting her just eight strokes off the lead. Laney Crutchfield and Thaylia Ramirez both shot opening round 92's while Danielle Alastre shot a 110 in her first round as a Mustang.
The final round is tomorrow morning beginning at 8 a.m.
