Suarez Nets First Goal For CBC Against Stephens

            Conway, Ark. – Playing at Centennial Soccer Park for the first time this season, Central Baptist College women's soccer hosted the Stars of Stephens College today in an American Midwest Conference contest. CBC (0-5-1, 0-2 AMC) trailed 2-0 to SC (2-6-1, 1-1 AMC) at halftime before scoring their first goal of the season in the second half, ultimately losing 3-1.

            Jaycee Suarez was the first Mustang to score this season, putting a goal into the net in the 64^th minute to make it 2-1 at the time. Stephens scored in the 25^th, 34^th and 86^th minutes against an undermanned CBC squad, who played the full 90 with just 10 healthy players.

            CBC will be back on the pitch at Burns Park next Saturday when they take on the Hornets of Harris-Stowe State in another AMC contest. Kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
