St. Louis, Mo. – Playing with only eight players, Central Baptist College women's soccer took on the Spartans of Missouri Baptist this afternoon at Spartan Field in an American Midwest Conference clash. CBC (0-7-1, 0-4 AMC) allowed three in the first half and six in the second half to lose 9-0 to MBU (5-7, 3-0 AMC).
Josie Gelsthorpe started in goal and made 17 stops in net. The Mustangs are back on the pitch a week from today at Burns Park against Williams Baptist. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.
