Conway, Ark. – Returning to the pitch for the first time in 14 days, Central Baptist College women's soccer hosted in-state foe Lyon College this evening at Conway Soccer Complex. CBC (0-5-1) allowed two first half goals and fell 2-0 to LC (2-3-0).
Rebecca Vandenburg had four saves while Kitanna Richards and Myndy Zamora had attempts on goal, all of which were turned away Lyon's goalkeeper. CBC opens American Midwest Conference play on Oct. 4 when they host UHSP. Kickoff from Conway Soccer Complex is slated for 4 p.m.
