Gross-Mitchell and Swaim Sweep AMC Track & Field Weekly Awards

            St. Louis, Mo. – For the second consecutive week, Ally Swaim and Ashleigh Gross-Mitchell were chosen by the American Midwest Conference as the women's track and field athletes of the week. This is the first time in CBC's brief track and field history that the Mustangs have swept both awards in consecutive weeks.

            Swaim posted the best times in the AMC this season in both the 100-meter dash and the 100-meter hurdles at this weekend's Richard Martin Invitational. Gross-Mitchell best her previous long in the long jump and also recorded the best mark in the AMC this season so far. Congratulations to both Ally and Ashleigh on this recognition.

            Track and field is back in action this weekend at the Dan Veach Invitational, hosted by Southern Arkansas University.
