#MustangsWin! CBC Beats Hannibal To Sweep Season From Trojans!

            Hannibal, Mo. – Playing on the road for the second time this week, Central Baptist College volleyball took on the Trojans of Hannibal-LaGrange University tonight in an American Midwest Conference tilt at the Mabee Sports Complex. CBC (4-13, 3-3 AMC) swept HLGU (2-8, 0-4 AMC) in straight sets by scores of 25-19, 25-16 and 25-14.

            Collectively, CBC had 39 kills and hit .349, led by Jennifer Santana and Lakyn Johnson who both had eight kills apiece. Madeline Freeman and Adalyn Dura both recorded double digit assists with 14 and 11, respectively and Kate Scroggins (15) and Avary Smith (14) both finished with double digit digs. The Mustangs also had six aces and made 13 blocks (two solo, 11 assisted).

            CBC returns home for an in-state, non-conference clash on Tuesday night when they take on the Muleriders of Southern Arkansas University. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. and you can watch the match live on WatchAMC.com or on the UEN App on Roku.
