Personal Bests Dot Cross Country's Performance at University of the Ozarks Invitational

            Clarksville, Ark. – A set of runners had personal best performances today as Central Baptist College cross country competed in the University of the Ozarks Invitational. Ashleigh Gross-Mitchell, Mackenzie Milligan and Jadon Price both set personal bests today and Price nearly posted the fastest time ever.

            Price's time of 30:56.9 in the men's 8K was the fifth fastest time ever recorded in an 8K since the cross country program was started in 2016. Gross-Mitchell ran a 24:47.2 in the women's 5K event and Milligan recorded a time of 25:03.2, also setting a new best time. Ally Swaim was the top finisher on the women's side, posting a time of 24:15.6, her top time of the season.

            Cross country will be back on the course on Friday night in Magnolia for the Lois Davis Invitational, hosted by Southern Arkansas. The women's event kicks things off at 5:30 p.m. and the men's event will follow at 6:30 p.m.
