2022-23 Winter Sports Wrap Up

Conway, Ark. – The 2022-23 winter sports season concluded this past Friday for the Central Baptist College indoor track & field, wrestling, men’s basketball and women’s basketball teams. The season began with men’s basketball on Oct. 29 with a game against Louisiana Christian and ended on March 3 with Darron Harvey competing in wrestling nationals.

Conway, Ark. – A busy day in CBC athletics began with the wrestling team competing in the American Midwest Conference/Sooner Athletic Conference Championship and concluded with men’s basketball playing the Harris-Stowe State Hornets in the 2023 Homecoming game. Swaim, Brown Compete In 60-Meter Hurdle Finals at Principia Relays

Elsah, Ill. – Central Baptist College track athletes Ally Swaim and Josh Brown both competed in the 60-meter hurdles finals today at the Principia Relays. Both athletes qualified yesterday in the semifinals.

Elsah, Ill. – Competing for the second straight weekend, Central Baptist College track & field competed today on the first day of the 2023 Principia Relays. The Mustangs had four athletes compete in five events on the day.
Swaim Earns AMC Athlete of the Week Honors

St. Louis, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference announced their athletes of the week earlier today and a Central Baptist College track athlete was amongst the selections. Ally Swaim earned athlete of the week once again for the third time in her career.
Swaim Wins Again As Mustangs Compete At NAIA/Juco Invitational

Pittsburg, Kan. – Competing for the first time in two weeks, Central Baptist College track & field was back on course today at the NAIA/Juco Invitational, hosted by Pittsburg State University. Four athletes, Ally Swaim, Ashleigh Gross-Mitchell, Josh Brown and Jadon Price competed for CBC.
Swaim Competes At Friends First Chance Qualifier

Wichita, Kan. – Competing for the first time in 2023, Ally Swaim was on track today for the 60-meter hurdles at the Friends First Chance Qualifier. Swaim would barely miss the NAIA B standard time today, but did manage to finish second overall.
Swaim Opens the Season For CBC Track At Mel Tjeerdsma Classic

Maryville, Mo. – Competing for the first time indoors this season, Ally Swaim was on the track today for Central Baptist College track & field at the Mel Tjeerdsma Classic. Swaim reached the final in both the 60-meter hurdles and the 200-meter dash, with all the other finalists coming from Division II schools.
